Site contains: This site shows new books for children and young adults and allowed them to see what is special about them. It has books that have won awards and also what is popular with children today. The website shows what the cover of the book looks like, bibliographies of each book, and also a teachers guide on topics teachers can use when looking for books for there classes.
What you like about this site: I enjoyed this site because it s really shown and designed to help students find books they would enjoy. The description of the book helps me to see if the book would be of interest to the child. I really like the part on this site where it shows about the authors and the awards. That would be a great technique and introduction for a lesson.
2.) Title: Carol Hurst’s Children’s Literature Site

Site contains: this site is set up in a monthly newsletter for viewers to read about the popular new books out for PreK- 8th graders. This site is set up by curriculum areas and used to find themes needed for the classroom.
What you like about this site: I enjoyed this site because of the constant update of information. By having this easy to use Newsletter all you have to do in sign up to get great book recommendations for students and help you keep fresh material in the classroom.

Site contains: This site contains information to research about books that authors have written and keep updated on when authors of similar genre develops new content or books the reader would enjoy.
What you like about this site: I enjoyed this website because not only can you search about the books that you can enjoy but you can also purchase the books that you think you would find useful for students.

Site contains: This is a great search for books that you want to use in the classroom. You can search by author, title, subjects, award’s. This would be a great tool to have in the classroom if students want to find new books to read.
What you like about this site: This site is very easy to search for books for students. Its very user friendly, and makes finding new books to read an adventure.

Site contains: This site contains a list of all websites that would be helpful for future teacher to use to find books for their classroom. This website would be very helpful for first year teachers who need help figuring out books to match up to there lesson plans and extra step for students who need books that are different levels.
What you like about this site: This site was very helpful in finding other sites to use when searching for books.

1.) A Library
a. Most librarys have children’s sections where they promote new books and have author talks. This is a great resource to find out about new books and the people writing them. Hours of librarys are open to all people in a community and the cost is free with a membership allowing people of all class, even low income the ability to find a great book.
b. Locations are all over.
2.) Cricket
a. A Children’s Magazine that shows new and popular book that have been publics and techniques to use with your students while reading those books. You do have to pay for the subscription to this magazine but I believe the content is worth it.

3.)The Horn Book
a. A free children’s online magazine that talked about choosing the right book, and interviews with authors. I think this would be a great source for teachers, parents, and students to find new and popular books that would benefit learning in the classroom.
